Architecture students of the Krakow University of Technology (PK), Eng. Zuzanna Kletschka and Eng. Alicja Nowak, received an award in the international architectural competition #MilanCall for the design of the Creative Hub building.

The #MilanCall competition organized by the Start For Talents Association was addressed to both professionals and students. The participants’ task was to design a building that would function as a design factory in the Ticinese district of Milan.

The facility, designed by Krakow students was awarded for its perfect fitting into the surrounding space: historic buildings – including the Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio and the square in front of it – and the trees growing there. The chosen material is referring to the surrounding architecture.
