Students of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn won the competition for the best landscape architecture diploma and master’s thesis – informs the e-newspaper of the university in Olsztyn.
The competition organized by the Association of Polish Landscape Architects in the category of engineering works was won by Eng Ewelina Pochodyła for her work “The concept of spatial development of a scenic path along a fragment of the shore line of the Morąskie Rozlewiska”. In the master’s thesis category, the first prize was awarded to Katarzyna Wójcik for her work: “Wind power stations and landscape. Analysis of the impact of the planned Mikołajki Pomorskie wind farm on the landscape”.
The promoter of both theses was Dr Mariusz Antolak, assistant professor in the landscape architecture department at the Faculty of Environmental and Agricultural Development at the University of Warmia and Mazury.
