The School of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners of the University of Wrocław (SJPiK) obtained the accreditation of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, authorizing it to organize Polish language courses in the years 2021-2023.

SPJiK is a very important Polish language teaching center for foreigners in the region. It has been operating since 1974. Currently, it does not only conduct language courses, but also educates next generations of teachers and conducts state certification exams. In addition to teaching, SPJiK also supports research, closely cooperating with the University’s Institute of Polish Philology and research centers around the world.

However, the most important task of the School is still teaching Polish language and culture, especially to foreigners studying at the University of Wrocław. So far, 27 thousand people from over 90 countries have benefited from SPJiK courses.
