During the 2nd InnoWings International Invention Competition, scientists of Lublin University of Technology received 7 awards: 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals and a special award. The competition was settled during the Scientific Conference ‘Innovations in Practice’.

Thirty-one inventions were submitted for the competition from the USA, Finland, South Africa, Slovakia, Ukraine and Poland. An international chapter consisting of representatives from science and business awarded prizes Grand Prix, Excellence and medals: gold, silver and bronze for the best solutions.

Researchers from the Lublin University of Technology received gold medals for the following inventions: “Technology and modelling of high-strength composites for bone grafting components and medical instrumentation”, “Ecological technologies for the production of mineral-asphalt mixtures with the use of functional zeolite structures” and “Energy pulsation compensator for 4th generation producer energy storage”.
