Almost 250 people from nearly 30 countries will participate in the XXVIII summer school of Polish language, literature and culture organized by the School of Polish Language and Culture at the University of Silesia. Classes will start on August 1.
The participants of the summer school will learn Polish for a month. They will also participate in lectures and seminars on history, literature, art, culture, social and economic changes and the political situation in Poland. The program includes language games, poetry meetings, shows, concerts, Silesian feast and meetings with interesting people.
Among this year’s students are scholars of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, the Senate of the Republic of Poland and students from the partner universities including 40 scholars from Beijing University of Technology and Southwest University in Chongqing.
