For the second time, the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), together with the University of Gdansk, is organising a conference on support for Ukraine in the context of the Russian Federation’s wartime aggression. The event will take place on 3 and 4 April.

Participants will reflect on what has been done so far for the Ukrainian academic community and then try to develop a common vision for the reconstruction of Ukraine, a strategy for the reconstruction of academic centres and prospects for further development.

The main question around which the meeting will focus is: how to integrate Ukrainian higher education into the European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area? Poland has a key role to play in this process, creating a natural bridge between East and West for Ukraine. Ministers of science from Poland and Ukraine have announced their participation in the conference.
