The Design Department of the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz, thanks to the funding received from the City of Bydgoszcz and the Marshal’s Office of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, implemented the project “SYNERGIA Bydgoszcz – Chmielnicki 2019”.

The main goal of the project is to support direct contacts and cooperation of young people from Poland and Ukraine. Students and employees of the Design Department and the Interior Architecture Department of the University of Bydgoszcz prepared works that were presented at the exhibition at the Regional Museum of Art History in Khmelnytsky (Ukraine).

Young lecturers conducted workshops with youth and students of both countries in order to integrate the participants. The trip of students to Ukraine was an opportunity to exchange thoughts and views, but thanks to the formula of the project it was also an opportunity to present their own artistic works in the field of sculpture, drawing, painting or design. It was also an opportunity to see the work of their colleagues from Ukraine.
