The University of Lodz (UŁ) is one of the first Polish universities to establish a special Team for Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). Its activities are focused on analysing trends in the development of AI and assessing its relevance to the university, especially in terms of education and research activity.
The GenAI team at the UŁ is in charge of diagnosing the needs and expectations of members of the university community in the field of artificial intelligence. It is responsible for promoting knowledge, good practices and preparing a vision for the use of AI tools.
The team has an interdisciplinary character, which definitely increases the possibility of seeing this technology and its tools in a comprehensive way, taking into account the identity and needs of individual fields and scientific disciplines.
