Team of Koszalin University of Technology comes third in the EngiMath competition

Students of the mechanical department of the Koszalin University of Technology, Marta Woszczyńska, Sebastian Maciejak and Paweł Nadworski, took third place in the competition of national teams in the EngiMath competition, which promotes modern methods of teaching mathematics at technical universities.

The competition was held as part of the project “EngiMath – Mathematics on-line learning model in Engineering education” financed by the Erasmus + partnership program. Its aim was to develop and implement a model of mathematics teaching among engineering students using various information technologies and means of communication.

The participants competed mainly in the area of ​​linear algebra (matrices, determinants, systems of equations). In the first two days, the competition was held in international groups. On the third day, the competition took place between teams of each nationality. The fourth day was dedicated to individual competitions. On the fifth, the organizers provided a summary and presentation of the results.
