The first Polish investment fund in Kraków to support scientific research

Jacek Krupa, Marshal of the Małopolskie Region Jan Pamuła, president of the Małopolska Regional Development Agency and Prof. Tadeusz Słomka rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków signed an agreement establishing the Małopolska Science Fund – Closed Investment Fund of Non-Public Assets.

The task of the first investment fund in Poland, modeled on the solutions from Cambridge, is the financial support for scientific research and promising projects emerging at the university – says Anna Żmuda – Muszyńska, press spokesman of the AGH University of Science and Technology.
In the next four years, at least PLN 20 million will be allocated to the fund for the development of innovative projects.
