The director of the National Center for Research and Development has announced the second competition for projects under the strategic program of scientific research and development work within “modern material technologies” – TECHMATSTRATEG.

The main objective of the Program is to develop knowledge that will transfer innovative solutions to the socio-economic environment and raise international position of Poland in scientific research and development works.

The competition covers five strategic problem areas: technologies of construction materials, technologies of photonic and nanoelectronic materials, technologies of functional materials and materials with designed properties, non-waste material technologies, technologies of biodegradable engineering materials, materials technologies for energy storage and transmission.

The budget allocated for selected projects in the competition is PLN 200 million, and applications can be submitted from April 9 to June 8, 2018.
