The third competition of the Virtual Research Institute (WIB) has been announced. Its aim is to finance innovative research projects with high commercialisation potential. The budget of the competition is PLN 380 million. 

The task of research teams participating in the competition is to develop a new technology or group of technologies that will contribute to the creation of innovative drugs or therapies. The expected results of the research work carried out under the WIB are innovative products that may interest investors and thus contribute to the financial success of the entire undertaking.

The organisation and execution of all competitions is the responsibility of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT Polski Ośrodek Rozwoju Technologii, based in Wrocław, which is also the entity managing the WIB programme. 

The call for applications will start on 2 October and will last until 13 October 2023.
