This year’s only space-robotics tournament to be held in Poland

The ERC Space and Robotics Event in Kielce will be the only this year’s space and robotics tournament after the pandemic started. The event will take place on September 11-13, 2020.

Preparations for the sixth prestigious ERC competition, including 45 teams from 15 countries will be soon completed. During the finals, the teams will be engaged in field competitions, which will be conducted online for the first time in ERC history. The competition of participants controlling a robot physically located on the Martian track at the Kielce University of Technology campus with the use of a simulation platform will be available as part of a live internet broadcast.

As in the previous year, the sixth ERC will be accompanied by lectures delivered by special guests, business meetings and design workshops for players. The conference will be conducted as a hybrid event.

The co-organizers of ERC 2020 are the European Space Foundation, Special Economic Zone “Starachowice” S.A., Kielce University of Technology, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
