Three projects from the Naval Academy in Gdynia (AMW) won awards in the competition for the development and implementation of the unmanned aerial system (UAV) and unmanned maritime system (BSM) project for the Polish Army.

In the operational and reconnaissance category, first place was taken by the AMW and Military University of Technology teams. The AMW team was awarded for developing the NEOGOBIUS -1 project. It is a multipurpose unmanned maritime system designed for reconnaissance and towing floating objects weighing up to 3 tons.

Cadet Łukasz Paziewski from the Medical University of Warsaw took the third position in the same category for the “DELATA-PERSEI” project. The vessel is based on a semi-submarine boat, with the deck floating a few centimeters above the water surface. Due to its low profile, it is difficult to see, which enables observation and hidden tracking of objects.

In the circulating ammunition category, the jury awarded a design of a biomimetic underwater vehicle by the AMW team.
