Three proposals by students at the University of Silesia have won funding in the non-competitive conceptual project “Best of the best! 4.0”. as part of the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development, co-financed by the European Social Fund.

The aim of the project of the Ministry of Education and Science is to support exceptionally talented students in the development of their scientific activity. The funding can be used for participation in international competitions, contests and conferences.

The funded projects are: “Investigating the viability of micro-organisms from post-mining heap burning environments under polycrystalline conditions using an anaerobic chamber of our own design”; “The design of the modern environment of Jan Krzysztof Kluk on the basis of an economic manual of his authorship”; and “The formation of the concept of magical thinking in the early texts of Eugeniusz Frankowski”.
