The rectors of the University of Wrocław, the Medical University of Wrocław and the University of Physical Education in Wrocław have signed a letter of intent in which they express their will to combine their research and teaching potential.
Closer cooperation will strengthen the position of research centers, which together will become a serious partner for Polish funding institutions and will gain greater opportunities to build consortia applying for European money. Consolidation will also facilitate the conduct of joint research, the exchange of research and teaching staff and the improvement of management standards, which translates directly into the position of the centers.
The initiators of the project also intend to meet the challenges of the modern world: health security, technological development, strengthening the well-being of the inhabitants of the city and the region, and strengthening civic values and the importance of Wrocław on the map of Europe and the world.
