The Mayor of the Town and Commune of Wieliczka, Dr Artur Kozioł, signed an agreement with the Rector of the Cracow University of Economics (UEK), Dr Stanisław Mazur, Professor of UEK, concerning the joint organisation of a scientific conference “Self-government 6.0. Social development, economic services, modern finance”, which will be held in Wieliczka in June 2023.

The signed agreement stipulates that, as part of the planned cooperation, UEK will assist in creating the plan for the conference, as well as provide substantive support for the implementation of discussion panels during the event.

“I am glad that as the Krakow University of Economics we are developing and deepening our cooperation not only with the business sector, but also with the local government. The town and commune of Wieliczka is a beautiful place with enormous potential. I am sure that the cooperation initiated today will be continued, bringing further noteworthy initiatives”, said the Rector of the UEK, Dr Stanisław Mazur, Professor of the UEK.
