The Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) awarded the Biotechnology study program of the faculty of biotechnology of the University of Gdańsk and the Medical University of Gdańsk with the Certificate of Educational Excellence in the category “Excellent course – excellence in education”. This is the only distinction in Poland for such a study.

PKA emphasizes, that the education process is fully in line with the strategies of both universities, it is characterized by a very high quality that stands out and fully deserves a certificate. The professional experience of the staff and the nature of scientific research create conditions for conducting didactics combining biomedical and biomolecular issues and their applications in biotechnology.

Education at both Gdańsk universities is based on the highest teaching standards in the field of international cooperation, and students at many studies are included in the implementation of research projects.
