Two Industry Skills Centres (BCU) will be established in the Lubuskie Voivodeship. The state-of-the-art facilities will educate highly qualified personnel in two fields: water construction and land reclamation, and computer science and programming. The symbolic cheques for the establishment of the two BCUs were granted by the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek.

‘This is a leap into the future, into the absolute modernity of Polish vocational education. Today, young people know that a vocational school is an opportunity for a very fast and very good education and to acquire professional skills, which will allow them to enter the labour market already at the age of nineteen or twenty’, said the minister.

The Industry Skills Centres are the next stage of the vocational education reform. They will become technologically advanced centres for education, training and examination in a given industry. Their offer will be available to pupils, students, teachers, lecturers and industry employees.
