Two Industry Skills Centres will be established in Zielona Góra. One, in civil engineering and water melioration, will be created in the Zielona Góra Construction School, and the other, in IT and programming, in the Electronic Engineering School. The agreement for their establishment was signed at the University of Zielona Góra (UZ).
The University of Zielona Góra is a partner in both projects. The university will receive PLN 332,968 for the Industry Skills Centre project in the field of water construction and land reclamation. For the second project, the Industry Skills Centre in the field of IT and programming, the University of Zielona Góra will receive PLN 255,263.
‘Such centres will be created throughout the country in individual disciplines. There can be only one such centre in a given discipline’, says the originator of the idea of establishing the BCU in Zielona Góra, Vice-Chancellor for Science and International Cooperation at the University of Zielona Góra, Professor Marcin Mrugalski.
