A delegation of representatives of universities from Azerbaijan intending to establish the Conference of Rectors of Azerbaijani Universities on the model of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP) came to Poland.

As part of the visit to Poland, a delegation of 33 rectors, vice-chancellors and deans of faculties from Azerbaijan met with the rector of the Warsaw School of Economics, Prof. Piotr Wachowiak, who is the chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Warsaw Universities associated in KRASP.

KRASP is one of the most important institutions representing the interests and position of the academic community in Poland. For a quarter of a century, it has been setting the necessary framework for the development of a joint academic position of universities in key issues related to higher education in Poland – emphasized Prof. Wachowiak.

He also pointed out that KRASP enables inter-university consultations and an in-depth, multilateral analysis of the challenges facing the academic community.
