University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań assessed best in Poland in counteracting inequalities

University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań made its debut in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021 – a list that evaluates universities with respect to the implementation of 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by UN member states.

In the category of activities to counteract inequalities, the Poznań university took first place in Poland (ex aequo with the University of Warsaw), and in the overall ranking it was classified in the 201-300 position. The top five in the world ranking were the British University of Manchester, the Australian University of Sydney, RMIT University and La Trobe University, and the Canadian Queen’s University.

Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is the only classification that evaluates universities in terms of the implementation of 17 Sustainable Development Goals. 1115 universities from 94 countries were assessed in the classification. Each of them could declare to submit their data for four or more purposes.
