The Hugo Kołłątaj Agricultural University in Kraków (URK) was unanimously admitted to the membership of the International Center for Research and Information on Public, Social and Cooperative Economy – CIRIEC International with its HQ in Liege.

CIRIEC is a non-governmental, international scientific organization that brings together companies, associations and organizations of the public economy, social and cooperative economy as well as people interested in those fields.

It pursues scientific goals, and serves the international exchange of science and practice in these sectors of the economy.

“It is a great honor for us to be able to officially start cooperation with the international CIRIEC Association. Membership in this organization gives both parties new opportunities in acquiring valuable contacts and cooperation on the science-business line, both with organizations and enterprises as well as scientific institutions from around the world”, said Dr Eng. Sylwester Tabor, the rector of the URK.
