The Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Kasimir the Great (UKW) in Bydgoszcz will receive over 600,000 PLN for the implementation of the project: “In good terms with nature”. The money is allocated from the call of the National Center for Research and Development.

As part of the project, educational classes will be conducted in the laboratories and lecture halls of the faculty of natural sciences at the university as well as in the UKW Botanical Garden for pupils from 7th and -8th classes of elementary and post-primary schools. During the implementation of the project, the Faculty will host a total of 450 pupils, also from the Louis Braille school in Bydgoszcz.

In addition to classes in specialized laboratories, the Garden of Herbal Plants will be established in the Botanical Garden, which will be specially designed with selected species of plants to experience the nature with many senses.
