Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw has been listed as one of the beneficiaries of the Welcome to Poland programme. The project, which aims to develop the internationalisation of UKSW by providing comprehensive services to foreign students and teaching staff, received funding from the National Academic Exchange Agency.

As a result of the project, the University will create the Welcome Centre, whose task will be to support foreign students and staff in the adaptation process in Poland and at the university, and to provide basic information to facilitate everyday life in the country. It will provide support in social and living matters, as well as in official matters related to the legalisation of stay.

“The creation of the Welcome Centre responds to the needs of our University in connection with the intensification of its international activities and its readiness to undertake numerous initiatives aimed at strengthening the image of UKSW on the international arena”, said Rev. Dr Marek Stokłosa, Professor at UKSW, Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation.
