Representatives of Polish Mining Group (PGG) S.A. and the University of Economics (UE) in Katowice have signed a cooperation agreement. In this, they have committed to further cooperation for the development of both entities.
To date, the university’s team of experts has already developed documents for PGG – including a sponsorship strategy and a corporate social responsibility strategy, as well as a brand assessment in the media and a category analysis of the market value of assets.
“The signing of this agreement is a formal seal of the existing joint work, but also a commitment to further cooperation between the largest mining company in the country and the oldest economic university in Upper Silesia. It will allow further effective use of the scientific and research potential of the experts, and by taking advantage of the close proximity of both partners, we will be able to respond quickly to the reported needs of the company’s employees”, says the rector of the EU, Professor Celina M. Olszak.
