Students of the Poznań University of Economics (UEP) won the Odra Partnership Hackathon. This international event was organized by the Marshal’s Office of the Province of Greater Poland in partnership with UEP and the German Federal State of Brandenburg and the Trebnitz Castle.

The task was to prepare a solution for one of the four challenges of the border area of ​​Poland and Germany. The team of the Poznań university: Dawid Andrzejewski, Jan Kostrzewa, Dawid Kubczak, Marianna Walczak, Wojciech Wantowski and Rita Żuchowska in the hackathon presented the application “My e-grandson”.

Application “My e-grandson” allows seniors to establish contact with young people, for example in order to use the competence-base and exchange knowledge, to improve digital skills and to obtain information about events in the neighborhood.

The winners will receive support enabling the creation of a market version of the application.
