The University of Gdańsk (UG) advanced by 7 positions in the Perspektywy 2022 Ranking of Academic Universities. The University of Gdańsk is currently the 16th university in Poland, and the 6th in the ranking of universities.
“The progress of UG in this ranking is of course a reason to be happy, but above all it is a confirmation that we are on the right path of development. Let me remind you that when I took the office of the rector, the university was classified in 28th place, so within two years it was promoted by as many as 12 places and today it is the best position in the history of the University of Gdańsk in the Perspektywy Ranking”, says the rector, Prof. Piotr Stepnowski.
The Ranking of Academic Universities includes 29 indicators grouped into seven criteria: Prestige, Graduates on the labor market, Scientific potential, Innovation, Scientific effectiveness, Educational conditions and Internationalization. Its methodology is being developed by the chapter chaired by Prof. Michał Kleiber, former president of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
