The University of Gdańsk has concluded an agreement with the Provincial Police Headquarters in Gdańsk on maintaining order and security. The document was signed by the rector of the university, Prof. Jerzy Piotr Gwizdała and voivodship police chief commander Jarosław Rzymkowski.

The cooperation between the signatories of the agreement will consist in informing the parties in the scope of preventing, detecting and combating crime, counteracting terrorist threats and counteracting cyber threats. The partners will also undertake educational and preventive activities, including surveys, and participate in discussions on legal awareness and the image of the police and the university.

The agreement also provides for enabling the parties to access scientific studies related to crime, its disclosure, detection and combating, as well as assessment of factors affecting its level.
