University of Gdańsk becomes the leader of the project “Innovative competence in on-line higher education”

16.02.2021

The University of Gdańsk has become the leader of the “Innovative competence in on-line higher education” (InCompEdu) project. The aim is to develop a methodology and international tools to support online education. The project is financed under the Erasmus + Program.

The COVID-19 pandemic poses a serious challenge to higher education. A sudden transition to on-line teaching puts the university’s infrastructure to the test and is a challenge for academic teachers who have no experience in working in such conditions.

The researchers’ goal is to develop common, universal solutions for online curricula and IT teaching tools that could be used not only within one university or country, but worldwide.

The project consortium includes the Gdańsk university, the University of Turku (Finland), the University of Primorska (Slovenia), the University of Alba Iulia (Romania), and the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy).
