The University of Gdansk is a partner of the Boosting Digital Excellence and Governance Autonomy of Universities in the Countries of East Partnership (BEAUCOUP) project funded by the Erasmus+ programme. The initiative aims to stimulate the digital transformation of universities and consequently schools, kindergartens and education in general in the eastern neighbours of the European Union, such as Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

The project will run for 36 months, with a consortium of 20 partners from, among others, Estonia, Slovenia, Spain, Azerbaijan and Ukraine. The leader is the Estonian University of Tartu.

The partners from the European Union intend to share their experiences and solutions that have improved their university e-government, technical support, digital skills, learning with and through technology and teacher training strategies for a future technology-based world.
