The University of Gdańsk, together with partners from 11 countries, is implementing the RESBIOS project (RESponsible research and innovation grounding practices in BIOSciences). Activities implemented under the Horizon 2020 program are aimed at strengthening the practice of responsible research and innovation in the area of biological sciences.
The main goal of the project is to implement RRI (responsible research and innovation) practices in five new research organizations from different countries through the implementation of a dedicated package of activities. The result will be institutional changes in these units in relation to the five key areas of RRI (social involvement, education, gender equality, open access, ethics).
The project will be carried out for three years in a consortium coordinated by the Italian University of Tor Vergata in Rome. The consortium consists of 12 partners from 11 countries. The project’s budget is EUR 1.5 million.
