University of Gdansk joins the prestigious QS World University Ranking 2024

In the latest QS World University Rankings, the University of Gdańsk is the eleventh higher education institution and the sixth classical university in Poland. A total of 2,963 institutions from around the world applied for the ranking, with 1,500 universities from 104 countries included in the list.

In this year’s jubilee ranking (the QS WUR ranking is published for the 20th time), 22 Polish higher education institutions were classified (the same number as last year), of which the best ranked were the University of Warsaw (262nd position worldwide), Jagiellonian University (304) and the Warsaw University of Technology (571).

The University of Gdańsk maintained its last year’s ranking – a place in the 951-100 range. The best ranked indicators for the University of Gdańsk were participation in international research networks (472nd place in the world in this parameter) and the ratio of lecturers to students (493rd place in the world).
