The University of Gdańsk signed an agreement with the Chinese Nanyang Normal University. The document regulates the issues of academic cooperation in the field of exchange of academic staff, students, employees as well as joint research and publications.

The contract was signed by the Vice-Rector for Science and Cooperation with Foreign Prof. Piotr Stepnowski and vice-rector of Nanyang Normal University Prof. Kan Yunchao. The future cooperation between the two universities will focus on engaging PhD students in innovative research in both institutions.

Nanyang Normal University is a university founded in 1907, which is in the top 10 universities in Henan province of China. It has 24 research institutes and 26 laboratories.
