On September 18-22, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk will host the Global Law Dean’s Forum and the annual conference of the International Association of Law Schools (IALS). This is the first such congress organized in Poland.

IALS is a prestigious academic association of science and higher education institutions providing legal education. During the Global Law Dean’s Forum, the deans of law departments will discuss strategic visions and standards for global legal education, and issues related to the role of universities and the judiciary system in shaping legal reasoning.

After the Forum, guests will participate in the annual IALS conference to discuss the problems of methodology of law teaching, selected issues related to specific areas of law as well as interaction of law with business, culture and new technologies.
