University of Kielce to begin cooperation with the Institute of Genetics and Animal Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences

The Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) in Kielce has concluded a cooperation agreement with the Institute of Animal Genetics and Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). The Świętokrzyski University was represented by Prof.  Stanisław Głuszek, rector of the University, and Prof. Eng. Agnieszka Wierzbicka, director of the Institute of Animal Genetics and Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The agreement will be of a scientific and research nature and will deal with issues of genetics and molecular biology in clinical sciences and microbiology. It will effect in the exchange of experiences, research material, joint projects and scientific publications.

The mission of the Institute of Animal Genetics and Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences is to conduct scientific research and disseminate knowledge on animal genetics and biotechnology for innovation, biological progress and food security for the development of the economy and improvement of the quality of life of the society.
