A clinical R&D centre for medicine and animal husbandry and climate protection will be established at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. The aim of the investment is to increase the university’s research and innovation potential in the field of the environmental impact of animal husbandry and breeding, as well as animal health protection methods.
The investment will create a modern and innovative R&D infrastructure for world-class research in animal welfare, climate protection, human and animal diseases of civilisation.
The two-storey building will include: animal houses for small model animals, laboratory rooms, dissection and treatment rooms, a conference room and seminar space, as well as auxiliary and technical rooms. It will house research in the areas of life sciences, animal science, veterinary science, pre-clinical and translational research enabling the results of animal experiments to be transferred into clinical practice.
