The international project “Consumer of Organic Food in the Visegrad Group Countries” in which researchers of the Faculty of Economics of the Poznan University of Life Sciences cooperate with partners from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary has received funding from the Visegrad Fund.
The aim of the project is to identify and compare the characteristics of organic food consumers, their purchasing decisions and behaviour in the Visegrad countries region. The project consortium consists of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, the University of Life Sciences in Poznań, the College of Polytechnics Jihlava and the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (Czech Republic), the University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia) and the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (Hungary).
The project will contribute to supporting the organic food market by collecting, disseminating and presenting the results obtained on the consumption of organic food products among consumers.
