The University of Life Sciences in Wrocław was ranked 25th among all Polish universities and 2nd among agricultural universities in this year’s ranking of “Perspektywy”. The University’s faculties Nutrition and food and Geodesy and cartography are the best in Poland.

The university was ranked best in the category of scientific potential which takes into account: parametric assessment, the number of the staff with the highest qualifications, doctoral and postdoctoral qualifications. The fifth place means the advance by three positions compared to last year’s ranking.

University of Life Sciences took he first place for its Geodesy and cartography, the leading position was maintained by Food and nutrition. Veterinary medicine (2nd place), Animal husbandry (3rd), Biotechnology (3rd), Landscape architecture (7th) and Spatial management (7th) also were ranked high. The evaluation criteria include prestige, economic situation of graduates, academic, didactic and research potentials of the university and internationalization.
