On the occasion of the 75th anniversary, the University of Lodz (UŁ) is organizing a national photography competition under the motto of the Lodz university: “Veritas et Libertas” (“Truth and Freedom”).

Prof. Tomasz Ferenc, competition organizer emphasized that, the intention is “to visualize, interpret and update the idea deposited in the motto of the University of Lodz, and thus to imagine and redefine the values on which the Łódź University was founded.”

The competition is open and there are no restrictions in terms of participation. The goal is to create the widest possible platform for the photographers from all over Poland working in different photographic styles and genres.

The interested photographers can send photos by May 10 to the address Konkurs.foto@uni.lodz.pl. The main prize is 5000 PLN.
