The University of Opole has won one of the main prizes in the “European Universities – Alliances of the Future” competition. The university was recognised in the ‘Erasmus+ Excellence’ category for its active use of and participation in the Erasmus+ programme. The awards were presented during the I. European Universities Conference,
The aim of the competition organised by the National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Solidarity Corps was to select – for the first time ever – ‘the most inspiring and active Polish universities operating within university alliances and to promote the initiative and the importance of European Universities for the Polish and European economy’. It awarded the universities most involved in international partnerships.
‘This award is an appreciation of our already long-standing activity within the Erasmus+ programme based on hard indicators in recent years’, says Opole University Rector Professor Marek Masnyk.
