University of Opole becomes a beneficiary of the “Welcome to Poland” program

The University of Opole received 176 thousand PLN from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange for the implementation of the UO for International Students project – building internationalization potential as well as accepting and servicing foreign students of the University of Opole under the “Welcome to Poland” program.

The main goal of the program is the internationalization of Polish universities through developing the quality of admitting and servicing foreign students, doctoral students and academic staff from abroad, as well as promotion on the international arena.

As part of the project implementation, the university is planning to launch the Welcome Center- information and consultation point, organizing workshops on the Polish language and intercultural competencies for students, developing, translating and printing guides of the campus and Opole, and creating welcome packages for foreign students.
