University of Opole launched the Center of Modern Technologies

The Center of Modern Technologies has started working for the University of Opole. It is an orgnization responsible for the maintenance and efficient and safe operation of the university’s IT infrastructure. 

The tasks of the Center of Modern Technologies include management of university IT systems supporting statutory activities, including purposes of scientific research, didactic processes, support for the course of studies and university administration, and ensuring the security of IT systems and data stored and processed in IT systems.

The center will also maintain the IT infrastructure, i.e. servers, mass storage systems, backup and recovery systems and archiving systems, support in the use of university-wide IT systems and tools, and carry out development and implementation works with the use of modern IT technologies.
