University of Opole signed an agreement with the House of Polish-German Cooperation

The Department of Sociological Sciences and Social Work of the University of Opole and the House of Polish-German Cooperation will cooperate in the organization of student research and internships.  

The House of Polish-German Cooperation is implementing the Oral History Archive project with the aim to preserve in memory the places and lives of people related to the history of Upper Silesia and Warmia and Mazury. During the 12 years of the project, the participants have conducted over 500 interviews.

University students will conduct sociological research using the interview projects available on the website and carrying out their own versions- using the methods used in the project. University scholars will be involved in the analysis of the collected materials.

The agreements also provide for the organization of apprenticeships for students, cooperation and consultations in the creation of study programs and subject cards, co-organization of classes, meetings, conferences and other events aimed at the development of students.
