17.07.2018

The University of Opole has signed a cooperation agreement with the Polish Hunting Association. The agreement concerns study programs in natural sciences and the implementation of research and development works. The cooperation will also enable student internships and internships at the Animal Husbandry Centers of the Polish Hunting Association.

– We are very happy that we will be able to use your experience and knowledge. We want our students to learn not only theory within forest management at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, also practical skills – says Dr Izabella Pisarek, the Vice-Rector for Education and Students, Prof. University of Opole.

The Chairman of the Management Board of the Polish Hunting Association Wojciech Plewka admits that he wants to disenchant the myth of “the evil hunter”, because the work of hunters is mainly the care of the game and its natural environment- the forest.
