The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (AMU) invites participants to the international scientific conference “Universities in search of excellence” on May 6. The conference will be attended by eminent scientists and honorary doctors participating in the conference organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the University.

During the conference, outstanding personalities of science will talk about their path to excellence, including honorary doctors of Poznań universities, professors: Béla Bollobás, Cheong Byung-Kwon, Andrzej Dubas, Krzysztof Matyjaszewski, Peter Nijkamp, ​​Maria Siemionowa and Hans Wolfgang Spiess.

The program also includes awarding the UAM Foundation’s Prize “Excellence in Science – Usability in Practice.” The competition was dedicated to all those who during the Jubilee Decade UAM 2009-2019, pursuing their research and scientific activities, actively and socio-economic benefit combined science with business.
