The University of Silesia in Katowice and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow are inviting participants to the conference “The impact of COVID-19 on the justice system. Case study and suggested solutions”. The conference will take the form of a hybrid – partly remotely and partly in person. On May 26, participants will meet in Katowice, on May 27 in Krakow.
The conference is organized more than 2 years after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, and therefore will be an excellent opportunity to analyze how the regulations in European countries regarding the functioning of the justice system have changed in the times of COVID-19.
As part of the conference, the topic of developing a model solution for combating a pandemic will also be discussed, so that in possible subsequent special situations it will provide a useful solution. It will also be analyzed whether the solutions implemented in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic in various countries will be sustainable.
