The University of Silesia in Katowice has received funding for the implementation of its project within the program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Innovation Incubator 2.0. The program is to contribute to the promotion of scientific achievements, development of innovation, as well as to strengthen cooperation between science and the economy.
The consortium composed of University of Silesia, SPIN-US SPE and Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce will conduct activities to initiate and intensify cooperation of the scientific community with the business environment by seeking entities interested in implementing research and development results, promotion of technology and participation in science and business exhibitions and fairs.
Activities will also concern the implementation of pre-implementation work – adapting inventions to the needs of interested buyers. The program also provides for the management of the technology portfolio and the establishment of innovation brokers.
