University of Silesia in Katowice (University of Silesia) received almost 100,000 PLN for the implementation of the project “UAA Alumni – building relations with foreign graduates of the University of Silesia” as part of the International Alumni program implemented by the National Academic Exchange Agency.

The main goal of the project is to develop a cooperation strategy with foreigners who graduated from the Silesian University. Initially, the team for cooperation with foreign graduates will be established from the employees of various administrative units of the University.

The activities will be implemented from May 2019 to October 2020 and they will include creation, implementation and promotion of a mobile application – a tool supporting establishing contacts with foreign university graduates and organizing meetings with graduates during the summer school of language, literature and Polish culture in Cieszyn in August 2020.
