University of Warsaw to launch new faculties

From the academic year 2019/2020, the University of Warsaw (UW) will launch 12 new and 8 remodelled programs.
The offer of 20 new or changed programs at the University of Warsaw was prepared as a result of the analysis of reports on future professions and interviews with representatives of the university’s socio-economic environment.

The proposed new curricula better meet the requirements of the current and anticipated labor market – emphasized Prof. Anna Giza-Poleszczuk, vice-rector of UW for development on the campus radio student campus.

New proposals of the University of Warsaw include: Big Data Management (Journalism, Information and Bibliology Department), Digital Sociology (Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology), Search Geology (Faculty of Geology), Intercultural Communication – Asia and Africa (Faculty of Oriental Studies), Philology of Polish Sign Language (Faculty of Polish Studies).
